Moon and Christine, two Chinese American children, become best friends despite their differences after Moon moves next door. The confident, artistic Moon and the more reserved Christine begin doing everything together, from listening to K-Pop to painting their toenails, and even share their biggest secrets, including that Moon sometimes has visions of celestial beings...or does she?
